One thing led to another and here I am trying to find Michelle Branch singing acoustic live online. Then I found YUI doing a cover of Goodbye To You

Aside from her pronunciation, her singing was good. I think it gives the song a sweeter, gentler touch.

Of course Michelle's acoustic live version is good too. Can't beat the sass in her voice.

I think the other songs she performed at the Oxygen Festival were great too. One great version of All You Wanted (the arrangement she performed at Oxygen) is her performance at the Sundance Festival 2008.

As usual...I'm such a nut for acoustic.

I'm really tired. I feel so mentally exhausted from yesterday and today, but I can't stop yet because my work isn't done. But I guess the best part of it all is process; have to appreciate the very moments of exhaustion. Still, I can't wait for August to arrive.

Further ramblings on SCP

I'm just watching the SCP performances, right...and I'm laughing at myself..laughing at Arashi..hahaha it's so funny because I probably scanned through the lyric booklet months ago..so only by watching the performances did I realise the word "possibility" was there.. Before they completed singing the line, I was just staring at the word and wondering how on earth 5-syllable word dropped 2 syllables :DDD Man, why do they make me so happy?

Hehe Aiba's and Nino's hotness level skyrocketed in Move Your Body. And I right now I'm so craving for a ONE hairstyle-d Jun.

Speaking of which, I need to get a haircut very SOON. It's just growing about and so..shapeless and thick. But this time round maybe Nic will be bringing me to an acquaintance's, so maybe no Jun-inspired hairstyle :(

ps: Nic saw my wallpaper today and she told me it looked as if Ohchan wanted to kiss me because of his eyes and facial expression...hehe I got kinda shy/embarrassed looking at my own wallpaper after that. (can't rmb where I took it from)

My brainless morning post :D

fufufufufufu...So much happened on the weekends while I was spending an entire day writing my assignment (I am a slow worker). Very satisifed with it so I allowed myself to come onto vox...and caught up with the SCP perfs.

First one I watched...My Answer.. so happy they did this song because it's one of my favourites from the album. Had to start controlling myself when I saw Nino come out with that outfit cause I immediately thought: Can try that outfit out xDDD Everyone looked good..haha but Jun's shirt was very...uh huh..

Second one was One Love. Kinda used to the hand signs by now, but since they sang the whole song this time, I realised that actually the choreography made them all kinda stagnant. Member RABU <3333 And you know what! I'm not sure about the previous performances that were after the first MS, but they let Jun BREATHE!! :D His collar... yes...no more buttoning all the way up xD

Last one was Move Your Body..really liked Jun's hair. When I saw the setting and outfits, I was thinking how appropriate it was to have everyone's hair slicked back. As much as I love Jun's long hair, I realised maybe I do kinda miss the ONE hairstyle too. And by the way do they have some kind of technology to make proper songs sound a little bit live? Cause I think they are totally using it. Hahaha and I had no idea that Move Your Body's sho rap had a line in there that goes Crew Whazzup? LOL!! And one more thing...not being perverted here but man I love watchig Nino shake his butt...he does it really well don't you think? xD

"Suama is made out of non-glutinous rice flour ( or jyoushinko or dumpling flour), hot water, and sugar. And it's shaped by Sudare (a bamboo matt---in the us this is known as sushi rolling matt) so the outer shape looks very bumpy. The original coloring for Suama was actually white. But these days, people love to color Suama in pink or yellow other than just white."

Again from Yahoo Answers, someone was looking for a recipe for Suama because she can't get a recipe in english. Instead she found one in Japanese here (haha from the picture I confirmed it's suama in Stand Up!!)

I was randomly searching Cookpad.com for suama recipes. I guess there are slight variations here and there. In some the amount of water used is less or more. But roughly the amount of rice flour and fine sugar is about the same. The only recipe in english (I found so far) was from festiveideas.org:

Rice flour(or self raising flour or add some yeast to it)—150 grams
Sugar(fine powdered texture)—150 grams
Regular water—120cc
Red food coloring—up to you

Sift the four if neccessary and put into a bowl
Add the water slowly and kneed the flour until it is dough like.
Put the dough into another bowl and sprinkle the sugar onto the dough. At the same time use your hands(or some other instrument) to kneed the sugar into the dough.
Break the dough into small pieces(the size is as you desire, but the smaller it is, the faster it cooks. About slightly smaller than your palm is recommended.)
Dilute the food coloring with some water and dip the dough into it or brush the coloring over the dough.(Whether you want to add the coloring is up to you.)
Put the round dough pieces into a steamer and cook until the dough has lost it’s stickiness and when you poke a finger at it, the dough rises up from the indent.(Of course don’t poke so hard that you make a hole!)

I am addicted to this right now! Oh my gosh I love it! This single is going to be so damn awesome because on one hand there's Truth is kinda dark and I love its style, on the other it's this absolutely upbeat song with Sho rapping away.. ahhh.. it's love.

Anyway, elementary 2 test is over. Had trouble with my particles, as usual. Couldn't remember if it was を to be used with おります or で. Thank goodness I remembered " ひとつ前の駅でおりで..." from Oh Yeah.

After about 3 weeks since starting this, I've completed Zettai Kareshi!

It's my first time ever watching Mokomichi and I found him really funny in the drama because of his cool image and contrast of the sort of feeling by his character and actions. At the start I was really going between Soshi and Night, but in the end I was really all for Night!

I read the manga series halfway quite sometime ago and I couldn't really remember what went on exactly but I'm really happy with the drama's ending. And it's good because it made me cry :D It feels good too when I take a break from Arashi-related dramas. Although it was the cast that I sort of knew that made me watch this one.

Of course next up is to focus on Maou :D And perhaps watch Marathon because I think I saw subs out for that.

Hehe I'm going to watch Childminder Nino and Jun even though I usually can't keep up with the shows. NinoxJunxtoddlers...a deadly combination for me yo!

On a more serious note, I've just asked my parents about Taiwan. Hopefully it will be okay.

Ahh I'm feeling kinda sad because Elementary 2 is going to end. Next week would be the test and then it'll all be over. I always enjoy myself during Jap class because sensei is so funny and cute. And he is always trying to improve his english because he writes some words in english on the board and then he'll ask us if the spelling is correct. Then the class will proceed to correct him together. He's always encouraging us to make our own "original sentence" and not be afraid to make mistakes. That's why Jap class is motivating.

Anyhow otsukare boys~! :DD

All right, going back to work. I think I'm going to have to push the Hanadan stuff towards end July or early August, just before break. Hopefully I can squeeze in Maou eps cause I definitely want to watch it during season.

But listening to Ohchan and his "evil lawyer" voice makes me shiver and spazz out even more!!
